形態特徵

• Perennials, andromonoecious, green to puniceus, sometimes with stolons. Stems dimorphic: vegetative shoots acaulescent; flowering shoots 1-several, ascending, longer stems somewhat decumbent basally, unbranched or sparsely branched.
• Rosette leaves linear, 8-40 cm by 7 mm, apex acuminate, glabrous; cauline leaves linear to lanceolate, 1.3-8 by 0.4-0.8 cm; sheath puberulent, margins ciliate.
• Inflorescence terminal, a single cincinnus, 1 or 2 flowering shoots from axils of cauline leaves; bracts ovate, 4.4-6.3 by 3.2-4.4 mm; bracteoles ovate, 3.6-4.6 by 2-3 mm, fugacious; pedicel 3-4 mm long. Flowers dimorphic; sepals lanceolate, boat shaped, equal, ca. 3.5-4 by 2.3 mm, apex obtuse; petals suborbicular or obovate, 4.2-6.2 by 3.2-6.3 mm, purplish pink or purple, fertile stamens 2, equal, antesepalous, anthers purple, narrowly ellipsoid-oblong, ca. 1 mm long; filaments ca. 2.5-3.5 mm long, white or purplish; staminodes 4, unequal, one antesepalous, anther vestigial, filament ca. 2.5 mm long, bearded; other antepetalous, equal, antherodes trilobed, white or yellow, ca. 0.65 mm long, filaments 1.8-2.4 mm long, glabrous or sometimes hairy; ovary ca. 1.4 mm long; style ca. 4 mm long, glabrous.
• Capsule 4-5 mm long. Seeds 2 per locule, brown, 1.4-2.3 by 1-1.4 mm, apex acute, base truncate, radially or reticulately fasciate tomentose.

• 台灣 : open sunny places at low elevations throughout.
• 世界 : India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, southern China, the Philippines, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the Ryukyus.
